Farm House Fresh

Hi! I am Jim. I recently had a life change after 26 years in High Tech that led to graduating from Westmoreland County Community College with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and earning a CC, Certified Culinarian from the ACF, American Culinary Federation. My education at WCCC followed traditional French Cuisine training, International Cuisine training, Baking and Pastry training, Catering and Quantity Foods training, Marketing and Management training. As part of my education, I also completed an internship at the Oakmont Country Club.

I have always loved food and the food industry going back to my high school years working at the Round Table Pizza in Palo Alto and Menlo Park California. Today I am Owner and Executive Chef of Farm House Fresh. Farm House Fresh came into being after taking over The Fruitful Kitchen in Lower Burrell PA. The Fruitful Kitchen was known for The Pie Lady and her delicious pies. We still make the famous pies, and we are adding made in-house cakes, cookies, pastries, and Comfort food!

We are available to make special occasion treats, breads, cakes, cookies, pastries, lunch and dinner for groups.

Hi! I'm Hailey. I have had a passion for cooking & baking since I was little. Baking with my Grandmother throughout the years sparked my love for creating delicious desserts,  so I decided to turn it into a career.

I graduated from Westmoreland County Community College with an Associates Degree in Baking & Pastry Apprenticeship program. I also earned a CWPC, Certified Working Pastry Chef from the ACF, American Culinary Federation. My Apprenticeship work experience was completed at the Oakmont Country Club, where I gained 3 years of valuable hands on experience.

Now I am thankful and excited to be working alongside Jim at Farm House Fresh. I really enjoy making an endless variety of comfort foods and pastries.
